In the XXV edition of the “Beautiful Wrocław” competition, a multi-storey car park built by Budimex at the Centennial Hall received the first prize in the category of “engineering buildings, public space”. This competitions organizer is one of the oldest associations in Wroclaw, operating since 1956.  It brings together 1,300 members of the Wroclaw Lovers Association and cooperates with the President of Wroclaw. This year’s edition reported 52 objects. The competition has been organized since 1990, and it aims to promote architecture of Wroclaw. The most appreciated criteria are focused on architectural, spacious, functional and utilitarian values of objects. Prizes can be achieved in the following categories:

  • building or public property,
  • apartment building, multifamily,
  • residential building, family,
  • production building, industrial,
  • infrastructural building.

Parking was built under the concession contract, on behalf of Wrocławskie Przedsiębiorstwo Hala Ludowa Sp. z o.o. It is one of the few in Poland and the first investment in Budimex Group that was carried out within the framework of private-public partnership. Budimex completed this investment within 15 months.
