As many as 30 investments from all over Poland were nominated to the finals. The Consultative Board lead by Andrzej Dera, minister in the Chancellery of Polish President and readers of Portalsamorzadowy.pl website chose the winners who during the last decade commissioned the best municipal investments in the framework of public and private partnership.
The investments were assessed against criteria such as pro-development effect of the project, scale of investment in relation to financial capacities of local government, aesthetic qualities, practicality, innovation, cooperation with local communities at the design stage, financial engineering (licence, loan, subsidy, PPP) and active asset management.
The Top Municipal Investments 2017 award was received by Jerzy Angrocki, the president of Budimex Parking Wrocław for Parking Wrocław by Hala Stulecia.
