Now you can buy vouchers to Zoo Wrocław online. They are valid for 365 days. This is the Board’s answer to customer inquiries, and a way to secure funds for the animals while the zoo is closed due to the pandemic.
The only times the zoo ever closed down in its 155-year history, were related to wars. This time, the opponent is invisible – on March 11, 2020, the garden was closed to visitors due to the COVID-19 epidemic. However, the Board of Directors of the Wrocław zoo would like to reassure everyone that animal care is still top priority.
– About twelve thousand animals live in our zoo. Among them species that are no longer found in the wild, and those that are extremely threatened with extinction. Our primary task is to provide them with the best living conditions and ensure that the species survives. That is why everyday work must continue at the zoo. Of course, with emphasis on following safety procedures – says the president of the Wrocław zoo, Radosław Ratajszczak.
That is why, if possible, administrative staff work remotely. Animal keepers work in teams of two, alternating shifts.

Every day, the Wroclaw zoo receives numerous customer inquiries about how the garden and animals are coping in the current situation. People express their concern about the wellbeing of our animals and want to help.
– I am very pleasantly surprised by the number of inquiries, especially those offering support. I am very grateful for the concern and understanding. No tickets sold, means no income for the zoo. We have funds to operate in the near future, but we do not know how long this will last. That is why we’ve decided to launch online sales of zoo vouchers, which can be used within a year of purchase. You can buy these vouchers for yourself or as a gift. We called them #biletnaprzyszłość (A ticket for the future), because it sends a clear message. Difficult times lie ahead, but we have to think positively about the future – says the president of the zoo.
Available for online purchase are vouchers for regular, concession and family tickets, as well as vouchers for annual passes – regular and concession. The vouchers will be valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. They can be redeemed on the day of the visit at the Customer Service Office, without waiting in lines. Annual passes will be valid for one year from the date they are activated at the Customer Service Office.

Voucher 365 Family (Voucher 365 Rodzinny)
Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Voucher must be exchanged for a ticket on the day of the visit, at the Customer Service Office by the Main Entrance. Single-entry, 2 adults with up to 3 dependents – children, school age youth, and students of secondary schools under 21 years of age, as well as university students under 26 years of age, provided that at least one of the guardians is their parent. Valid I.D. required for all students.
Voucher 365 Annual Pass regular (adult) (Voucher 365 Karta Roczna NORMALNA)
Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Voucher must be exchanged for an annual pass at the Customer Service Office by the Main Entrance. The pass will be valid for 365 days from the date of exchange. For everyone not eligible for concession.

Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Voucher must be exchanged for an annual pass at the Customer Service Office by the Main Entrance. The pass will be valid for 365 days from the date of exchange.

Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Voucher must be exchanged for a ticket on the day of the visit, at the Customer Service Office by the Main Entrance. Single-entry, for everyone not eligible for concession.
Voucher 365 concession (Voucher 365 Ulgowy)
Valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. Voucher must be exchanged for a ticket on the day of the visit, at the Customer Service Office by the Main Entrance. Single-entry, for:
– children between 3 and 7 years of age,
– students of primary, middle, and high school, under 21 of age, valid I.D. required,
– children and adolescents from 7 to 18 years of age, not subject to compulsory education because of illness or disability, valid I.D. required
– retirees and pensioners, valid I.D. required
– disabled persons and their attendants (1:1), valid I.D. requireddisabled person attendant must be at least 13 years old, and the disabled person under his/her care must present a document, stating the need of permanent presence of a caregiver/attendant.
