In just two years, Budimex restored the Four Domes Pavilion in Wrocław to its former historical glory. This historic Four Domes Pavilion, listed in 2006 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was originally built in 1913 according to the design of the renowned architect Hans Poelzig. One hundred years later, Budimex began a comprehensive revitalization, adapting the pavilion to the needs of the National Museum in Wrocław and a modern museum exhibition.

During the conservation works, the original functional layout of the Four Domes Pavilion interiors was restored, and the façade regained its historical character. The pavilion’s spacious courtyard was covered with a glass roof, and an underground level with technical facilities was created beneath it. Thanks to these architectural and structural solutions, the exhibition space of the Four Domes Pavilion increased to 6,200 m², providing more room for visitors and the National Museum in Wrocław exhibitions.

The revitalization of the Four Domes Pavilion also enhanced its surroundings – Budimex renovated the adjacent area, restored the small architectural elements, and replaced the surfaces of pedestrian and pedestrian-vehicle paths, creating a coherent and elegant environment. The entire investment amounted to PLN 66.6 million net, demonstrating how attention to Wrocław’s architectural heritage can combine tradition with modern functionality.
